Who are we?

The Communications Ministry the key player in the Parish’s Mission, Vision and ongoing community life. It is a support and collaboration team, creator of content, disseminator of news, a hub of expertise and advisor, facilitator and team member.

The Communications Committee helps the members of the Parish including the pastoral team, parish staff, church staff and other parish groups and volunteers with their promotion and communications needs while maintaining the branding look established for Corpus Christi.

What can you do for us?

We produce parish brochures, posters, flyers and other promotional media as well as managing the parish website, Parish event calendar, Facebook page, Instagram account and other social media channels. We facilitate the livestream, produce videos, help with technology and keep track of the parish’s communications tools and equipment. We can create the publications for you or you can request the tools – logo, templates, fonts, and colours – which will enable you to produce your own materials to help you publicize events and deliver your messages to the parish.

When do we help out?

We communicate the Parish vision, mission and purpose to the wider Parish audience.

We can assist with any ministry’s events either at the planning stages to help you set our your communications plan or once you have a plan in place and need materials to complete your plan, or once you have materials made to help you get the message out. We can facilitate a communications planning meeting for you, provide training on using the Parish brand elements so you’re comfortable that you’re staying within the Parish vision, or in any other way that you can imagine. We tie things together and help get messages from one place to another internally and externally.

We help you with Social Media, creating accounts, setting up administrators and providing access to content tools.

Are you interested in helping out?

We are always looking for volunteers with communications skills of any kind, particularly in production – photography, illustration, web design, publishing, video and audio production and editing, etc. – or working with communications, graphics and IT computer applications.  If you have any of these skills or knowledge, and want to serve the Corpus Christi community by helping to improve and expand our communication, we’d love to hear from you!
